Shark Infographic
How do you make a museum visitor stop and read?
The challenge
A natural history museum needed educational material about sharks that could hold its own on a wall, competing with the specimens themselves. The usual approach is dense text and small diagrams. Nobody reads those.
The thinking
Information design is storytelling with constraints. The challenge wasn’t knowing about sharks. It was deciding what to leave out.
The work
An A0 poster covering a different aspect of shark biology and behavior. Hand-illustrated, data-driven, designed to work as a system on the wall.
