This site is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you open a page, Vercel’s servers process technical data such as your IP address, the page requested, date and time, and your browser’s user agent, in order to deliver the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a reliable, secure website). Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and has signed Standard Contractual Clauses.
I use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to see which pages are visited and how fast they load. Both work without cookies and do not identify you: visitors are counted with a hash that changes daily and cannot be traced back to a person. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site).
All fonts are served from this site itself. No requests are made to Google or other font services.
Some case studies embed videos from Vimeo (Vimeo.com, Inc., New York, USA) and YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (Google Ireland Ltd., Dublin). When a video player loads, your browser connects to their servers and they receive your IP address and technical data. YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode does not set tracking cookies until you play a video. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (showing my work). See the privacy policies of Vimeo and Google.
Catch the Food saves your high score and nickname in your own browser (local storage). It is never sent anywhere, and you can delete it by clearing your browser’s site data.
If you email me, I use your message and address only to reply, and delete them when the conversation is over unless there is a reason to keep them (for example an ongoing project). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Just email me. You can also complain to a supervisory authority, for example the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.
